Tafresh Handmade Carpets, crafted in the historic city of Tafresh in central Iran, are among the most distinctive and elegant Persian carpets. Unlike the more famous Tabriz or Kashan rugs, Tafresh carpets are known for their fine wool quality, balanced geometric-medallion designs, and soft, harmonious color palettes featuring ivory, red, and indigo tones.
What truly sets Tafresh rugs apart is their symmetrical knotting technique and medium-to-high pile, which give them a perfect blend of durability and comfort underfoot. The weavers of Tafresh often use handspun local wool and natural vegetable dyes, resulting in carpets that are both eco-friendly and exceptionally long-lasting.
Ideal for both traditional and modern interiors, Tafresh Handmade Carpets embody the authentic spirit of Persian artistry while offering a unique regional character that distinguishes them from other Iranian weaves.
