It is difficult not to get excited by this magnificent rug. It is a central medallion rug with floral motifs and patterns that are intricate and the quality of craftsmanship and design are of the highest standard. It is made of the finest material, silk. The field contains motifs representing nature and in particular spring. Note the abundance of flowers on healthy vines. Blossoms representing youth, eternity, even perhaps the universe.
